The team engineers systems that direct, track, and support laboratory experiments.\nResponsibilities include\nArchitecting and developing new software solutions to increase the speed or reliability of the laboratory operations team\nMaintaining advanced laboratory support systems, including inventory management and asset tracking\nUpdating SLL, Emerald’s software library, to provide a better development experience for internal and external users \nRequirements\nPh.D. degree in Chemistry or Biology\nYou have 2 years of experience as a Scientific Infrastructure Engineer, Scientific Automation Engineer, Research Scientist - Automation & Systems, Research & Development Infrastructure Scientist, or Research Engineer\nExperience with Mathematica Coding\nYou are comfortable with rigorous data analysis and experimental design.\nYou are capable and willing to learn computer programming (no prior experience necessary, but it is a welcome bonus).\nYou are capable and willing to learn to program robotic automation (no prior experience necessary, but it is a welcome bonus).\nYou have worked extensively in the course of research to troubleshoot both experiments and complex instrumentation.\nYou have experience conducting a wide variety of different experiment types and are excited to quickly develop expertise in a very diverse array of new methods and instrumentation.\nYou enjoy building systems and automating processes.\nYou are a detail-oriented thinker who takes pride in precision experimentation.\nYou might resonate with ECL if...\nYou are passionate about science, technology, and medicine.\nYou are impressively empathetic.
