AI Platform Engineering Specialist

We are hiring a highly skilled AI Platform Engineering Specialist (Technical Account Manager) to work directly with customers building AI-first applications. This is not a traditional support role. It is a technical, customer-facing engineering position focused on enabling customers to successfully design, build, and scale complex applications powered by AI. You will function as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), owning architecture reviews, feature development, debugging, and technical problem-solving for customer implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with customers to understand Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Build and customise features using autonomous coding agents and AI tools.
• Integrate LLM APIs into production-grade systems.
• Review architecture, code flow, and system design for reliability and scalability.
• Debug complex issues across application layers.
• Contribute to High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
• Implement best engineering practices, including rate limiting, asynchronous processing, and API optimisation.
• Perform code reviews, manual QA, and automated QA.
• Enable customers through strategic knowledge transfer and technical guidance.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in fullstack or backend development.
• Experience working in a product-based company.
• Hands-on ownership of core product features.
• Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory).
• Experience with modern backend technologies such as Node.js or NestJS.
• Experience contributing to HLD, LLD, and system design.
• Strong debugging skills and architecture review capability.
• Experience implementing scalable APIs, rate limiting, and asynchronous workflows.
• Solid foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into production systems.
• Experience building AI-powered features for real-world use cases.
• Understanding of prompt design, reliability considerations, and scaling AI-driven applications.
• Ability to operate as an end-to-end owner of development, code review, QA, and debugging.
• Comfortable refining designs and fixing implementation gaps independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate directly with customers and guide them through complex technical challenges.
• Experience working with PRDs and translating business requirements into engineering outcomes.
