scale.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end user journeys.\nBuild reusable automation frameworks, utilities, and test infrastructure that scale with product complexity.\nDevelop and maintain UI automation using Playwright or similar modern automation frameworks.\nWrite automated API and integration tests covering functional behavior, error scenarios, and edge cases.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve execution speed, reliability, and feedback time.\nIdentify product risks early and work with developers and product managers to improve testability and prevent defects.\nInvestigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and improve automation stability.\nUse AI-assisted development and testing tools to improve test creation, debugging, coverage, and maintenance.\nTest AI-powered product workflows, including dynamic UI behavior, generated outputs, failure scenarios, and regression risks.\nTake end-to-end ownership of quality for assigned features, from requirement analysis to release validation.\nTrack automation coverage, defect trends, and test reliability to continuously improve quality.\nRequired skills and experience\n3-6 years of experience in software testing, test automation, or SDET roles.\nStrong programming skills in Python or TypeScript.\nHands-on experience with Playwright, or an equivalent browser automation framework.\nGood understanding of API testing, REST, HTTP, JSON, authentication, and integration testing.\nExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test execution.\nStrong understanding of test design, boundary-value analysis, negative testing, and risk-based testing.\nExperience building or extending reusable automation frameworks.\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate failures using logs, traces, and network requests.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with engineers and product managers in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong ownership, attention to detail, and clear communication.\nGood to have\nExperience testing AI-powered applications or LLM-based features.\nFamiliarity with AI coding assistants and agent-based testing approaches.\nExperience with mobile automation, performance testing, or observability
