The Accounting Business Partner, located at our Chanhassen, MN facility, is responsible for providing accounting & financial support to business units by leveraging their accounting expertise to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and analysis. This role partners closely with various departments to drive financial performance, enhance business processes, and support decision-making with accurate and timely financial information. This includes working closely with Sr Controllers, Cost Accounting teams and shared financial service teams in Costa Rica and Manila.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Accounting Activities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual processes not centralized in shared financial service for Accounting manners. Does not include Cost Accounting.
- Partner with Sr Controller & rest of the teams, including shared financial service teams to ensure closing and accounting processes are in compliance and successfully performed.
Business Partnering:
- Act as a key point of contact for business units, providing accounting expertise and financial insights to support their strategic goals.
- Act as the right hand of the Sr Controller to evacuate doubts in accounting processes, ARs and internal controls.
Compliance and Control:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and regulatory filings, coordinating with external auditors as required.
Month-End and Year-End Close:
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes for assigned business units, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely. Alignment to happen with shared financial service teams
- Support balance sheet accounts review and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to enhance financial systems, reporting tools, and procedures.
- Use of AI and other tools to improve processes, reporting and analysis.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and guidance to non-finance staff on financial processes and best practices.
- Act as a mentor to other accounting staff, supporting their professional development and growth.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and business partnering
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification
Experience in a corporate or large business environment
Experience on working with Shared Services outside of US is a premium

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $95,000-$120,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
