The Assembly Supervisor serves as a key leader in driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nLead daily assembly operations to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements while promoting a strong safety culture through employee engagement, routine observations, audits, and investigations.\nManage workflow, labor utilization, and resource allocation to maximize productivity, minimize downtime, and achieve manufacturing performance targets.\nEnsure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and product specifications while promoting a \"Right First Time\" approach and defect prevention.\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across safety, quality, delivery, and cost, driving standard work and process discipline.\nProvide leadership, coaching, and direction to assembly team members and team leaders, including performance evaluations, ongoing feedback, and fair resolution of employee concerns.\nFoster teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement while motivating employees to participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.\nApply strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis, to resolve manufacturing and equipment issues.\nAddress employee performance and conduct concerns with professionalism while exercising sound judgment and making decisions independently within established policies and procedures.\nCommunicate effectively, demonstrate integrity and professionalism, maintain a positive attitude, and lead by example.\nPerform other tasks as assigned by manager\nFor this role you will need:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum five (5) years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required. \nMicrosoft Office and basic computer skills. \nProficiency with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).\nAbility to create and maintain strong working relationships throughout all levels of management.\nExperience with internal and/or external audits from regulatory agencies.\nPreferred Qualifications that will set you apart:\n7+ years of leadership experience in a Manufacturing environment.\nExperience in Lean Manufacturing and leading continuous Improvement.\nExperience in utilizing problem-solving methodologies such as PDCA, A3, 8D, or Root Cause Analysis.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
