Assembly & Test Technician

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Assemblecomponentsandproductsinaccordancewithestablishedworkinstructionsandqualitystandards.
• Configureandbuildcustomer-specificgasanalyzersandassociatedsystems.
• Installsub-assemblies,electricalcomponents,tubing,andpipingwithinanalyzersystems.
• FollowESDandhealthandsafetyprocedurestoensureasafeandcompliantworkingenvironment.
• Performfunctional,performance,environmental,andlong-termtestingactivities.
• Verifyanalyzerperformanceanddocumenttestresultsaccuratelyandconsistently.
• Identifyandcommunicateobservations,issues,andimprovementopportunitiestotheproductionteam.
• Createandmaintainmanufacturingandtestingdocumentation.
• Preparefinishedequipmentforshipmenttocustomers.
• Supportcontinuousimprovementinitiativesthatenhancequality,efficiency,andcustomersatisfaction.
• AdheretoEmerson'stradecomplianceproceduresandescalateanyconcernswhenappropriate.
• Contributepositivelytoacollaborativeteamenvironmentandsupportbusinessprioritiesasneeded.

• Strongattentiontodetailandcommitmenttoqualityworkmanship.
• Effectiveproblem-solvingandtroubleshootingskills.
• Abilitytomaintainaccuraterecordsanddocumentation.
• Workingknowledgeofhealthandsafetyrequirementswithinamanufacturingenvironment.
• Basiccomputerskills,includingexperienceusingMicrosoftOfficeapplications.
• Abilitytoworkeffectivelybothindependentlyandaspartofateam.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experienceworkingwithanalyticalinstrumentation,gasanalysisequipment,orrelatedtechnologies.
• Experienceperformingproducttesting,calibration,orperformanceverificationactivities.
• HNC,HND,apprenticeship,technicalcertification,orequivalentpracticalexperienceinascientific,engineering,manufacturing,ortechnicaldiscipline.
• Familiaritywithelectro-mechanicalassemblyprocesses.
• Experienceworkinginaregulatedmanufacturingenvironment.
• Knowledgeofcontinuousimprovementmethodologiesandqualitysystems.
• Understandingoftradecompliancerequirementswithinamanufacturingsetting
