You will be a part of the Bill of Materials team located in FCEC, Chennai and will be responsible for breaking down the model numbers into the right part numbers to pass on to the factory team for procurement, testing,assembly etc.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nReview incoming orders to Stafford and create Bill of Materials for pressure relief valves using Master Parts Lists and SAP Variant Configurator\nSupport Stafford Engineering team by creating BOM for lines under the engineering queue. Ensure\nBOM is created in line with the committed team service level and quality targets\nCommunicate with Application and Product engineers to clarify issues on Orders\nCreate new part numbers in SAP as required\nParticipate and host RCA/CAPA sessions for any external errors in BOM\nWork with Stafford engineering team based on their requirements and priorities like parts clean-up activities and updating Master Parts List as required\nProvide technical support for Application and Documentation teams\nCheck for correctness, duplicates and approve newly created part numbers\nModify/Transfer/Delete existing part numbers based on the product engineer’s requirement\nCreate new classes, characteristics and its values in SAP as specified by the Product Engineer\nPerform data clean-up and mass changes as and when required\nSupport various data extraction related activities in SAP and MS Excel\nMaintain the records of work done, team metrics and monthly reports\nWho You Are:\nYou have good attention to details and are technically sound. You have a passion for learning about different products and also value quality in work done and able to collaborate.You quickly and significantly act in constantly evolving, unexpected situations.
