You use knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions. You build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. You adjust communication to fit the audience and the message while driving results.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, a Technical Field, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years business development or sales experience with consistent track record of success. \nExperience driving sales growth in a business-to-business environment.\nStrong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.\nAbility to develop sales strategies based on customer needs and market trends.\nExperience working across cross-functional teams.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.\nRequires 50 -70% travel time\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExperience in the data center, critical infrastructure, electrical, automation, or industrial technology markets.\nKnowledge of power distribution, thermal management, automation, networking, or related technologies.\nExperience working with consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, and end users.\nProven success developing and growing strategic customer relationships.\nMBA or advanced business degree.\nAt Emerson, our employee’s passion for innovation and results drives our success.
