This role focuses on purchase order management, supplier coordination, inventory support, cost optimization, and supply chain risk mitigation while supporting operational excellence across the Measurement Systems & Solutions business.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nCreate and process purchase orders for Measurement Systems components.\nObtain quotations from suppliers and support supplier selection activities.\nFollow up with suppliers to ensure delivery commitments are met.\nResolve purchase order, invoice, and supplier-related issues.\nSupport inventory management and material availability requirements.\nExecute day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.\nSupport localization, sourcing, and cost-reduction initiatives.\nDevelop sourcing strategies for key commodities, materials, and services.\nCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Service Management teams on procurement decisions.\nMonitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport efforts to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure business continuity.\nMaintain accurate procurement records and ERP system transactions.\nEnsure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.\nWho You Are\nYou are action-oriented and drive tasks through to completion.\nYou communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.\nYou build collaborative relationships across functions.\nYou maintain accountability and ownership of procurement activities.\nYou continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.\nYou demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nFor This Role, You Will Need\nBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\n2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or materials management.\nExperience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards.\nStrong organizational and negotiation skills.\nGood communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nKnowledge of procurement processes and supplier management practices.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart\nProfessional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, APICS, ASCM, or SAP Certification.\nExperience in manufacturing, project-based, or industrial procurement environments.\nKnowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier development, and inventory management.\nExperience supporting cost optimization and localization programs.\nUnderstanding of supply chain risk management principles.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You!\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
