Your focus is on strategical and tactical procurement support, execution, and timely availability of required materials within boundary conditions. Request for Quotations and defining order quantities to secure given Budget are also part of your responsibility.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nCreates and modify purchase orders in accordance with established policies and procedures. (Purchase orders are issued based on the requirements of customer orders, and ERP demand, with consideration of inventory, safety stock levels, and lead times)\nEnsures timely placement and management of Direct Purchase orders with selected vendors\nConfers with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedules\nReviews bid proposals and within budgetary limitations and scope of authority\nContacts suppliers with discrepancies of quantity and quality, enforcing Emerson’s PO terms and conditions as applicable\nInterfaces with all departments and resolves problems and issues as necessary\nActs as a liaison between assigned suppliers and internal departments involved to resolve procurement-related problems\nContributes to team efforts by accomplishing other job-related tasks as needed and enabling other workers to achieve their job objectives\nReview open PO reports, check order status, modify quantities or due dates\nContribute to the Strategic Sourcing, Procurement mission and vision in line with Global Supply Chain guidance\nMaintenance of ERP Data e.g., Info records, replenishment time, order acknowledgement\nSupplier Development\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance\nCommunicate efficiently\nWho You Are:\nYou gain insight into customer needs.
