In addition, this position will respond to building maintenance issues and client requests, and will ensure that a safe environment is maintained for all campus users. This is an important role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and reliability.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES\nMaintain campus properties, ensuring that a safe environment is provided for all users.\nComplete daily work order requests.\nGive access to contractors as necessary. \nMaintain supplies and equipment.\nPerform seasonal maintenance tasks as appropriate. \nAssist trades personnel as needed. \nRemove snow as required.\nDocument time and materials information.\nPerform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS - Qualifications are deemed required or preferred and represent what is needed to effectively perform job.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience required\n3-5 years of job-related experience with demonstrated competence required\nExperience in a higher education setting preferred\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of those knowledge, skills, and abilities commonly associated with the job.\nBasic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other trades\nSelf-starter with good problem-solving skills\nGood attention to detail required\nPHYSICAL ABILITIES - Activities commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.
