This role serves as a focal point for customer technical support, service contracts, projects, and cybersecurity initiatives while helping customers improve system performance, reliability, and cybersecurity posture through proactive recommendations and technical expertise.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nPerform routine maintenance and service activities in accordance with customer requirements.\nProvide recommendations to customers on system improvements, cybersecurity enhancements, product upgrades, and system health checks.\nCoordinate and execute assigned service projects and technical activities.\nPerform startup, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, fault analysis, and repair activities on Emerson systems and products.\nInvestigate and resolve technical issues encountered at customer sites.\nSupport Sales Engineers in product demonstrations and customer presentations.\nAssist customers in understanding product applications, cybersecurity best practices, maintenance requirements, and operational procedures.\nDevelop and implement system configuration changes to meet customer requirements.\nDeliver customer training and on-site instruction related to operation, maintenance, and cybersecurity solutions.\nParticipate in on-call support rotations as required.\nMaintain accurate service documentation, timesheets, site reports, and project records.\nEnsure compliance with Emerson business processes, quality standards, and customer requirements.\nWho You Are\nYou are customer-focused and committed to delivering exceptional service.\nYou apply strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues.\nYou communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.\nYou continuously develop your technical expertise and adapt to evolving technologies.\nYou make sound decisions under pressure and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.\nYou collaborate effectively across diverse teams and functions.\nFor This Role, You Will Need\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 5-6 years of experience in automation, control systems, industrial networking, or cybersecurity within process industries.\nStrong knowledge of Emerson Process Systems and Solutions products.\nExperience configuring and supporting industrial network switches and firewalls such as Cisco, Juniper, Dell, Siemens, Palo Alto, Hirschmann, or equivalent technologies.\nKnowledge of Network Management Solutions such as WhatsUp Gold and SolarWinds.\nExperience with virtualization technologies including VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.\nKnowledge of Windows System Administration.\nExperience with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Acronis.\nExperience with endpoint security solutions including Trellix, Symantec, Application Whitelisting, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).\nExperience with SIEM technologies including Trellix, Splunk, ArcSight, or similar platforms.\nKnowledge of compliance monitoring and security assessment tools such as Tripwire.\nExperience performing vulnerability assessments and interpreting cybersecurity findings.\nExperience with Microsoft WSUS patch management solutions in both air-gapped and non-air-gapped environments.\nStrong understanding of Operational Technology (OT) networking and industrial control system cybersecurity.\nExperience conducting control system network assessments and audits.\nGood written and verbal communication skills in English.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart\nIndustry certifications in cybersecurity, networking, virtualization, or Microsoft technologies.\nAssociate-level certifications related to the services performed.\nExperience supporting Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity standards and best practices within process industries.\nValid driver's license.\nAdditional local language capability.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You!\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
