You admit mistakes and gain insight from experiences.\nFOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:\nBachelor's degree in engineering or science\n2+ years of applicable software engineering experience\nDemonstrated software engineering experience developing or testing embedded systems using languages such as C/C++, C#, or Python, with experience in areas such as software design, implementation, debugging, integration, or automated test development.\nAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.\nExperience developing embedded software for real-time, multi-threaded, or microcontroller-based systems.\nProficiency in C or C++, including experience with structured or modular software design.\nFamiliarity with embedded communication interfaces such as CAN, SPI, UART/SCI, or I²C.\nExposure to Ethernet, TCP/IP, or industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, PROFINET, HART, Modbus, or PROFIBUS.\nExperience debugging software and hardware/software integration issues.\nFamiliarity with software development lifecycle, cybersecurity, or product development practices, including IEC 62443-4-1 or similar standards.\nAbility to communicate technical information and work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.\nInterest in using AI-assisted engineering tools to support software development, testing, debugging, or engineering productivity.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nOur compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process.
