You will lead financial reporting and compliance processes provide strategic insights to support business decisions and collaborate with diverse teams to drive operational excellence and innovation.\nThe Finance Controller will be based in Egypt and responsible for managing and controlling the financial reporting for Emerson Egypt & Libya and potentially other country in Africa according to company strategic expansion plan (both Statutory and Management accounts); overseeing the production of monthly and annual accounts; managing payroll and creating & supporting journal entries where required.\nIn This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nManaging the financial statements and ensure compliance with Company and Country processs rules and regulations\n\nEnsuring the Corporations Ethics policy is followed for all financial transactions in your territory\n\nReporting financial statements to all statutory bodies accurately complete and in a timely manner\n\nManaging complete and timely daily inputs to the transactional processing group via the data serve system\n\nFile Withholding tax returns monthly and Income tax returns annually accurately and in a timely manner\n\nReporting financial statements using Emerson reporting tools accurately completely and in a timely manner\n\nProviding detailed financial analysis comparing actuals to business expectations by division and for your territory and reporting any material variances\n\nPreparation of month end accounts pack and sales reporting models and reporting to HQ in a timely and accurate manner with emphasis on ensuring that all reported information is supported by strong analysis\n\nAnalysis of the territory business by division with greater emphasis on detailing underlying trends and drivers of the divisions and providing support and information with these in mind\n\nProviding support and information during budgeting forecasting mid-year reviews and the year-end accounting processes as required\n\nBuilding good relationships with all key business managers and ensuring where possible to make a financial presence available thus ensuring support in key decisions\n\nTo develop financial reporting tools that will support and work alongside the current tools whilst adding value and professional presence\n\nEnsure completion of Annual KPMG audit with non-compliance comments by corporate due date\n\nRecognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emersons Company Policy and Procedures Assist in coordinating with the customer finance team for all bank guarantees renewal invoices payments issuance of invoices against work progress reports etc.\n\nMaintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement\n\nWho You Are:\nYou are a trusted and ethical professional who demonstrates sound judgement and integrity in all financial matters.
