Working closely with a global team of cross-functional leaders, you will transform business performance data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, drive operational excellence, and contribute to sustainable growth.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nLead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.\nProvide financial data and ad hoc analysis to all levels of management within the business unit and Emerson.\nPartner with world area finance, operations, supply chain, R&D, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to improve forecast accuracy and identify risks and opportunities.\nDevelop financial models and scenario analyses to support informed business decisions.\nPrepare executive-level reporting and presentations that clearly communicate insights, business impacts, and recommended actions.\nAnalyze and communicate monthly and quarterly business performance, highlighting key drivers and business impacts.\nDrive continuous improvement through process standardization, automation, and enhanced use of planning, ERP, and business intelligence tools.\nLead and develop finance team members in a collaborative environment focused on accountability, process improvement, and knowledge sharing.\nSupport new product development process by reviewing business cases and providing guidance to stakeholders.\nWho You Are:\nYou transform financial information into business intelligence through analysis and integration of quantitative and qualitative information. You know how businesses work and how organizations make money. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting or relevant experience in lieu of education.\nMinimum 6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, finance business partnering, financial analysis, or similar.\nSolid understanding of U.S. GAAP and strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, management reporting, and business performance evaluation.\nDetail-oriented approach with strong leadership skills and experience leading teams, projects, or complex planning processes.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to articulate professionally and concisely with all levels of management.\nAbility to travel up to 10% as needed.\nLegal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nAdvanced business system knowledge, including Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Excel, and PowerPoint; experience working with PowerBI is a plus.\nFamiliarity with AI, automation, and advanced analytics concepts.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
