Strategies will be developed in conjunction with the Value Creation and Profitability Review process and programs supervised through Global Engineering Team.\n\nLead an India organization responsible for material joining product design and development, sustaining engineering and global welding programs. Ensure that technological capabilities are present in the organization to achieve Growth and Profitability objectives\n\nMaintain sound engineering concepts and standards of design and quality in the development of new products, and in the improvement of existing products.\n\nProvide leadership for Branson’s intellectual property strategy, including patent, publication, and technology licensing activities, in partnership with legal department, to protect and commercialize technologies, that supports business objectives\n\nEnsure the establishment and administration of sound quality controls to acquire and ensure continued certification and compliance of the technology function under ISO\n\nPlan and implement plans for human resources, capital, and expenses to optimally meet business and functional objectives.\n\nIn conjunction with Human Resources, responsible for the human resource development of the function. This includes recruiting, training, advising, appraising, mentoring, promoting, succession planning, terminating and compensation activities. Maintain an environment of motivation and passion to ensure high morale and minimize voluntary attrition while working towards specific goals of being Inclusive.\n\nRender assistance to universities requesting collaboration in the development and participation of work training programs; attend and participate in outside organizations and associations, meetings, panels, seminars, and surveys for the purpose of exchange of technology and information transfer.\n\nDevelop, in conjunction with Marketing, strategic plans for portfolio management including recommendations on joint ventures, acquisitions, divestures and/or product line expansions. Lead the New Product Development funnel to ensure that NPD results are met, and that Innovation is constantly moving forward to achieve Technology Leadership.\n\nSupport the India/Asia Operations, including Quality, Service and Application Teams for the technical support with valuable solutions.\n\nRepresent Branson India/Asia in Global responsibilities which may include engineering symposiums, task forces, and Technology Conferences\n\nWho You Are\nYou excel at interpreting technical trends and translate them into outstanding ideas that drive innovation and technology leadership. You always keep the end in sight and put in extra effort to meet deadlines\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\n20+ years of exp out which10+ years of relevant professional experience\n\nBE/ME/MS Degree in one or more engineering field of study.
