You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, enhance manufacturing performance, and support the successful delivery of innovative solutions that meet customer and business needs.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nLead and promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and employee engagement throughout the manufacturing organization.\nDevelop and execute lean manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives and site priorities.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and other operational excellence methodologies.\nLead the manufacturing engineering team in identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements that improve quality, efficiency, safety, and productivity.\nPartner with operations, quality, supply chain, maintenance, and product engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes and workflows.\nEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and continuous improvement outcomes.\nIdentify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and process innovation to support long-term business growth.\nLead root cause analysis activities and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.\nSupport capital investment projects, equipment selection, manufacturing technology upgrades, and facility improvements.\nDevelop standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and best practices to ensure consistency and operational effectiveness.\nCoach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, accountability, and growth.\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with regional and global teams to share best practices and implement enterprise-wide improvement initiatives.\nWho You Are\nYou build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. You develop and deliver communication that conveys a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences while fostering trust, engagement, and alignment across teams.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nExperience leading lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, manufacturing engineering, or operational excellence initiatives within a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience leading cross-functional projects and driving organizational change.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.\nEffective communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and organizational levels.\nExperience applying root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and operational performance metrics.\nAbility to prioritize multiple initiatives and deliver results in a dynamic environment.\nAbility to communicate effectively in English and Italian.\nLegal authorization to work in Italy.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExperience in industrial manufacturing, automation, valves, flow control, process industries, or related sectors.\nKnowledge of Six Sigma methodologies, including Green Belt or Black Belt certification.\nExperience implementing digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, automation, or smart factory initiatives.\nFamiliarity with ERP and manufacturing systems, including SAP or similar platforms.\nExperience leading capital projects, facility improvements, or manufacturing technology deployment.\nUnderstanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience working within a global, matrixed organization.\nOur Culture and Commitment To You\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow. The total compensation salary range for this role is EUR 50,000 to 65,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
