In this role, you will contribute to the successful launch and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new products, optimize manufacturing performance, drive cost reduction initiatives, and support operational excellence through innovation and continuous improvement.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nImplement new manufacturing models and processes while ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.\n\nDesign and optimize workstations using ergonomic principles to improve safety, quality, and productivity.\n\nDevelop and build engineering samples during new product introduction and process validation activities.\n\nStandardize manufacturing processes and establish best practices across production lines.\n\nMaintain Oracle manufacturing data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, engineering changes, and deviations while ensuring compliance with ETAC design and regulatory requirements.\n\nAnalyze, establish, and maintain manufacturing routings for both new and existing products.\n\nEvaluate production routes to maximize efficiency and implement corrective actions when opportunities for improvement are identified.\n\nDevelop and maintain PFMEA documentation, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and quality records for manufacturing processes.\n\nPartner with Quality teams to evaluate scrap and waste levels and implement corrective and preventive actions.\n\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nCreate layouts and manufacturing plans that improve productivity while sustaining 5S standards.\n\nDevelop, maintain, and communicate project plans, progress reports, and impact analyses.\n\nLead and execute productivity, quality, and cost reduction projects using continuous improvement methodologies.\n\nCollaborate closely with Product Engineering and Design Engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and successful product implementation.\n\nSupport operational excellence initiatives focused on process efficiency, quality enhancement, and customer satisfaction.\n\nAchieve assigned objectives and contribute to departmental and organizational goals engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field focused on manufacturing and assembly operations.\n\nExperience supporting manufacturing, process engineering, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement activities in a production environment.\n\nExperience within a maquiladora or high-volume manufacturing environment.\n\nConversational English with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural and global environment.\n\nKnowledge of manufacturing process development, process standardization, and production optimization.\n\nExperience with line balancing, time studies, and motion studies.\n\nExperience using measurement instruments such as calipers, scales, height gauges, voltmeters, ammeters, and multimeters.\n\nWorking knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Poka-Yoke (Mistake Proofing), and 5S methodologies.\n\nExperience analyzing manufacturing data and driving process efficiency improvements.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other engineering software tools.\n\nStrong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.\n\nDemonstrated commitment to workplace safety, collaboration, and continuous learning.\n\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nTwo or more years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or similar engineering role.\n\nFive to seven years of experience in a manufacturing or maquiladora environment.\n\nGreen Belt certification or demonstrated experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies.\n\nExperience using Minitab, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.\n\nKnowledge of engineering change management processes and product launch activities.\n\nExperience with PFMEA development, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and quality system documentation.\n\nFamiliarity with Oracle manufacturing systems and ERP environments.\n\nExperience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Optical Comparator equipment.\n\nUnderstanding of cost reduction strategies, productivity improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.\n\nExperience working closely with Design Engineering and Product Engineering teams during product development
