If the answer is yes, we might have a place for you on our team!\nEmerson is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work out of our facilities in Marshalltown, IA, Gonzalez, LA, or Pasadena, TX. This position will make a difference by working in partnership with the manufacturing engineering and the manufacturing operations teams to design and implement processes and tools that support Safety, Service Levels, and operational efficiency goals across the five North America Rapid Response Centers: Pasadena, TX, Gonzales, LA, Atlanta, GA, Hamilton, ON (Canada), and Edmonton, AB (Canada).\nIn this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be\nDevelop manufacturing procedures, processes, and best practices to implement standardized work across the network.\nDevelop fair and equitable time estimates for machine process routings.\nUse CAM software to create CNC programs for machine tools, lathes, and milling machines.\nCreate controlled documentation for machine setups.\nAssist machine operators with day-to-day machining, tooling, and work-holding challenges.\nEvaluate operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.\nFacilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving teams to implement changes that will drive sustained performance improvement.\nPlan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.\nCollaborate with the North America Factory Automation Leader on new project developments, to drive initiatives and improvements with innovation and new process technologies, including Intelligent Automation.\n Contribute to the design, development, and support for a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\nDevelop detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow, and apply continuous improvement methods.\nAnalyze performance and quality metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.\nDevelop and manage project plans with cross-functional teams.\nSupport Emerson safety and quality program compliance.\nSupport commitment to Sustainability by implementing sustainable manufacturing processes or products.\nWho You Are\nYou effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You find opportunities that benefit the customer.\nFor this Role You Will Need\nBachelor’s in relevant Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, and related software.\nPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart\nExperience in the following areasProficient with CAD and CAM software (Edgecam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).\nExperience with CNC programming multi-axis CNC milling and lathe turning machines.\nFamiliar with Fanuc, Siemens, and Mazak machine tool controllers.\nEvaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.\nGeometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).\nFunctional gauging and measuring instruments.\nManufacturing Execution Systems and / or other production, material, and capacity planning software.\nComputerized Maintenance Management System and / or other asset management software or database.\n\nOur Offer to You\nWe recognize the importance of employee wellbeing and know that to do your best you must have flexible, competitive benefits plans to meet you and your family’s physical, mental, financial, and social needs.
