The position rotates across shifts based on business needs to ensure consistent training coverage.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nDevelop and deliver training programs, materials, and learning solutions that support production operations, quality requirements, and business objectives.\nPartner with subject matter experts and operational leaders to identify training needs, develop curricula, and implement effective learning strategies.\nSupport training governance, audit readiness, and compliance by maintaining standardized training processes and documentation.\nEvaluate training effectiveness through assessments, reporting, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nLead and support cross-training, onboarding, foundational skills development, and train-the-trainer programs across manufacturing operations.\nGenerate and maintain detailed training metrics, project updates, and progress reports to ensure alignment with organizational goals.\nLead and participate in continuous improvement and corrective action initiatives to strengthen workforce capability, quality performance, and operational excellence.\nWho You Are:\nYou are a collaborative and results-oriented learning professional who is passionate about developing people and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You communicate clearly across diverse audiences, drive initiatives from concept through execution, and continuously seek innovative ways to enhance learning effectiveness and workforce performance.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor's degree.\n5 or more years of manufacturing experience.\n3 or more years of training, learning and development, workforce development experience, and/or experience supporting:Production operations\nLean manufacturing\nContinuous improvement initiatives\nSafety and compliance programs\nTechnical skills development.\n\nStrong understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes.\nKnowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.\nExperience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training management software.\nKnowledge of safety regulations, quality management systems, and regulatory training requirements.\nAbility to develop competency frameworks, skills matrices, and employee certification programs.\nStrong project management, organizational, and change management skills.\nExcellent facilitation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.\nDemonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nMaster's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.\nExperience supporting Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement initiatives.\nProfessional certifications such as CPTD, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, Lean Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, or PMP.\nExperience leading multi-site manufacturing training programs.\nExperience implementing workforce development strategies that improve operational performance and employee engagement.\nOur Culture and Commitment To You\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
