Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will operate and maintain all heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment to support environmental conditions throughout the facility, including the Solid State manufacturing center.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nWorks with state inspectors, provides license coverage and meets all requirements for MN state boiler vessel inspections.\nProvides guidance and work direction to non-licensed H.V.A.C. employees while performing any boiler or H.V.A.C. related work.\nProvides leadership and direction to all Rosemount employees with regards to heating, ventilation and air conditioning matters such as; equipment, safety, machine installations and area layouts.\nResponds to emergency requests to eliminate unsafe or inefficient conditions.\nUnderstands the theory of operation of boiler systems, chillers and cooling towers and various other HVAC and pneumatic systems. Primary owner and monitor of the building automation system. Works with contractors as required to optimize the sequence of operations.\nAble to read and interpret drawings, specifications, or instructions, to operate and maintain all boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, heat pumps and pneumatic or electronic controls.\nWorks with outside vendors to execute HVAC related maintenance and projects.\nParticipates in the HVAC planning and implementation of facility expansion, department rearrangements, and complex equipment installations including installing ductwork.\nInstalls new equipment and modifies existing equipment to maintain humidity or temperature levels as required.\nProvides chemical control to chiller and boiler water to ensure efficient operation.\nUses preventive maintenance program to ensure that a wide variety of H.V.A.C. equipment is maintained on a regular basis, and kept in good working order.\nTroubleshoots equipment and makes recommendations for replacement or redesign.\nSupports internal projects and installations ensuring that appropriate records are kept and maintenance is set up.\nPerforms other trade responsibilities as required and is available for emergency call-in when necessary.\nUses facility Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document all scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, emergency maintenance, labor activities and to improve equipment performance.\nOther duties as assigned including working at multiple facilities as required.\nWho You Are:\nYou quickly and critically take actions in fact-changing, unpredictable situations.
