This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, values collaboration, and is motivated to make a meaningful impact through innovation and problem-solving.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nProvide technical support for production builds, system configuration, testing activities, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).\nConfigure gas analyzers and associated systems to meet customer requirements and performance expectations.\nConduct laboratory testing and validation activities to support product delivery, issue resolution, and continuous product improvement.\nTake ownership of complex technical challenges related to system integration, configuration, hardware, software, and measurement performance.\nCollaborate across electrical, mechanical, systems, and analytical disciplines to identify practical, effective, and customer-focused solutions.\nPartner with Technical Sales, Sales Order Engineering, Operations, Quality, Service, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.\nSupport a broad range of applications, including specialized measurement technologies and hazardous gas environments.\nInvestigate escalated technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend sustainable corrective actions.\nProvide post-sales technical support to customers and field service teams.\nSupport both standard and engineered-to-order solutions throughout project execution and delivery.\nIdentify trends and recurring issues from production, testing, and customer feedback to drive product, process, and operational improvements.\nShare technical expertise and contribute to team learning, knowledge transfer, and capability development initiatives.\nFollow applicable compliance requirements, quality standards, work procedures, and escalation processes.\nUndertake additional responsibilities aligned with business needs and individual capabilities.\nWho You Are:\nYou persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks and maintain effectiveness when facing difficult or changing situations. You readily learn and apply new technologies, using technical expertise and emerging solutions to improve performance, drive innovation, and deliver meaningful results.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nPractical knowledge of measurement instrumentation, analytical systems, process measurement technologies, or similar technical equipment.\nExperience working with gas analysis technologies, process industries, scientific instrumentation, or comparable technical environments.\nHands-on experience configuring, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining, or validating analytical instruments and integrated systems.\nUnderstanding of the interaction between electrical, mechanical, controls, systems, and measurement-performance considerations.\nAbility to investigate technical issues systematically, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt technical information for different audiences.\nProficiency with common digital workplace tools, including Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and service partners.\nCommitment to safety, quality, integrity, compliance, and ethical business practices.\nAn engineering or science qualification, apprenticeship, vocational credential, or equivalent knowledge gained through relevant practical experience.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExperience supporting production, Factory Acceptance Testing, service operations, technical project execution, or customer delivery activities.\nFamiliarity with gas chromatographs, gas analyzers, laser analyzers, or related process measurement technologies.\nExperience configuring complex or engineered-to-order systems based on customer specifications.\nKnowledge of applications within industries such as natural gas, chemicals, refining, power generation, food and beverage, aerosols, life sciences, or related markets.\nExperience supporting hazardous gas applications, specialist measurements, or advanced analyzer troubleshooting activities.\nDemonstrated involvement in root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, technical training, or continuous improvement initiatives.\nExperience collaborating across engineering, operations, quality, sales, and service teams within a multidisciplinary environment.\nOur Culture and Commitment To You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
