Based out of Pasadena, TX, the Operations Manager defines and implements strategic plans that are aligned with the North American and Global Flow Controls Strategies within their operations locations. The Operations Manager owns site P&L (Budget, POR, Growth & Profit Plan) and is responsible for optimizing business performance through effective management of resources and operations. Operational oversight includes, but is not limited to: safety, quality, production, maintenance, labor and employee relations, and other production-related activities as well as coordinating with the Impact Partner to meet or exceed customer requests.\nIn this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nExpected to support the achievement of the following critical success factors: safety, quality, delivery/lead-time, cost and inventory management.\nDrive safety as the #1 value throughout the organization. \nLead operations teams to support the overall production schedules needed to meet customer demands for parts and product. \nAble to accurately forecast and clearly communicate variance for site(s) P&L.\nManage and align workforce resources to appropriately support large, incline field machining for Impact Partners and business, as needed.\nStrategically manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of competing orders.\nProactively solve and prevent production challenges due unforeseen machine downtime, tooling constraints, and material availability.\nReduce lead times through set-up reduction and process improvement efficiencies. \nSupport continuous improvement projects and initiatives. \nParticipate in strategic planning to set annual and long-range priorities to meet company goals and objectives.\nSupport the implementation of new technology, processes, and procedures.\nDevelop skills and abilities of direct reports, including leadership skills.\nProvide manufacturing support to groups outside of operations such Engineering, Materials, Sales, Service, or Suppliers.\n\nWho You Are:\nYou serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. Communicate regularly to stakeholders; ensuring understanding and commitment to goals, initiatives and directives. You create and implement plans that allocate resources precisely.
