We are looking for an Operations Welding Engineer who will coordinate and support all welding-related activities within our manufacturing operations in Lugagnano Val d’Arda.\nThis is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will work closely with production teams, quality, and engineering to ensure welding processes are compliant, efficient, and aligned with customer requirements. You will be involved in both daily operational topics and problem-solving activities, contributing to a critical and highly specialized area of our business.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nCoordinate and support daily welding activities, ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements.\nAnalyze customer orders and select appropriate welding procedures (WPS), supporting PQR development when needed.\nWork closely with operators to ensure correct execution of welding processes and material usage.\nReview production plans and ensure availability of consumables and resources.\nManage welding consumables (selection, ordering, and proper use).\nIdentify and resolve welding-related non-conformities, ensuring corrective actions.\nPrepare working instructions and ensure documentation and traceability.\nSupport operator qualifications (WPQ/WOPQ) and certification continuity.\nCollaborate with Quality on inspections and support audit activities.\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and HSEQ standards.\nWho You Are:\nYou are a hands-on and adaptable engineer who enjoys working close to operations and solving real-time challenges. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic environment, balancing technical requirements with production needs while effectively communicating with operators and stakeholders to drive solutions.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nWelding certification (IWE / IWT / IWI / IWS or equivalent)\nDegree in Engineering or a technical field is a plus.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in welding, manufacturing, or similar environments.\nGood knowledge of welding processes, materials, and standards.\nExperience with WPS/PQR and quality requirements.\nAbility to manage non-conformities and corrective actions.\nItalian fluency and a minimumof B1-B2 in English\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExposure to testing activities (e.g. cryogenic or similar).\nExperience in procedure development related to welding.\nExperience in industrial manufacturing (valves, pressure equipment, or similar).\nFlexibility to develop additional certifications if needed.\nOur Culture and Commitment To You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
