This role manages order scheduling, production planning, inventory support, and cross-functional coordination to ensure efficient execution from order release through shipment and invoicing while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and trade compliance requirements.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nPlanning & Scheduling\nDevelop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, factory capacity, material availability, and business priorities.\nValidate customer requested delivery dates and support lead-time quotation activities.\nSchedule orders in line with delivery commitments and production requirements.\nRelease work orders based on production capacity, WIP levels, inventory status, and customer priorities.\nCoordinate manufacturing execution from order scheduling through completion and invoicing.\nMonitor production flow and maximize throughput across manufacturing operations.\nDrive service level performance by optimizing planning and lead-time management activities.\nSupport planning activities for MRO and project orders to ensure successful execution.\nCross-Functional Coordination\nCollaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Stores, and Customer Service teams to support effective order execution.\nCoordinate BOM changes and resolve planning-related engineering issues.\nLiaise with internal stakeholders to ensure customer specifications and requirements are achieved.\nPlan and coordinate customer inspections throughout the manufacturing process.\nMaintain visibility of capacity constraints across stores, assembly, paint, quality, and packing operations.\nInventory & Performance Management\nSupport inventory optimization initiatives, including inventory turnover (ITO), safety stock, excess and obsolete inventory management, and material planning.\nContribute to inventory performance improvement programs and cost-saving initiatives.\nIdentify production bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.\nSupport operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.\nReporting & Business Support\nPrepare and maintain planning and operational reports, including: Late Backlog Reports\nRoot Cause Analysis (RCA)\nOn-Time Delivery (OTD)\nInventory Bridges\nInventory Turnover (ITO)\nPOR Phasing Reports\n\nProvide planning insights and recommendations to support business decisions.\nSupport business unit initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profitability.\nPerform additional duties as assigned by management.\nWho You Are\nYou are action-oriented and focused on achieving results.\nYou demonstrate strong planning and organizational capabilities.\nYou collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nYou communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders.\nYou adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational demands.\nYou demonstrate integrity, accountability, and strong attention to detail.\nYou continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and performance.\nFor This Role, You Will Need\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.\n1-3 years of experience in planning, manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or related functions.\nUnderstanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing workflows.\nGood communication and stakeholder management capabilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.\nExperience in manufacturing, valve industry, or industrial production environments.\nKnowledge of inventory management, supply chain planning, and production scheduling.\nExperience with ERP-based planning systems.\nFamiliarity with inventory optimization and operational performance metrics.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You!\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
