In this role, we expect the candidate to serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, Project Managers, Enterprise IT teams, and development resources for the implementation and enhancement of the Integrated Project Management System (iPMS) using Oracle Primavera Unifier and P6. This role is responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing business processes, translating functional needs into technical solutions, and ensuring successful delivery of system capabilities that support the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle. The Business Analyst drives project execution by coordinating with cross-functional teams, monitoring progress, tracking deliverables, and providing regular status reporting to ensure timely completion of project modules and business objectives.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nPartner with Project Managers, Enterprise IT teams, and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.\n\nConduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and process reviews to understand current and future business needs.\n\nTranslate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution designs for Oracle Primavera Unifier.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams across the Quote-to-Cash process, including Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Order Management, and Documentation teams.\n\nAct as the primary liaison between business users and developers, ensuring clear communication of requirements and solution expectations.\n\nSupport solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and user acceptance activities.\n\nDrive development teams toward timely completion of project modules, milestones, and deliverables.\n\nTrack project progress, manage action items, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues when required.\n\nMonitor implementation schedules and provide regular status reports, dashboards, and project updates to leadership and stakeholders.\n\nSupport integration requirements involving enterprise applications, reporting platforms, and workflow systems.\n\nValidate delivered solutions against business requirements and coordinate defect resolution with IT and development teams.\n\nDevelop process documentation, business procedures, training materials, and user guides.\n\nFacilitate user training, system adoption, and change management activities.\n\nIdentify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement within project management and operational workflows.\n\nSupport governance, reporting, and data quality initiatives within the iPMS ecosystem.\n\nWho You Are:\nYou are responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. Facilitate meetings to engage with Business leaders and users to understand how the changes in process / products / services / software and hardware can improve efficiency and add value. You should articulate the ideas and balance them against technological feasibility, finance and functional requirements.\n\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nEngineering Degree in any discipline\n\n8+ years’ experience in Project / Product Management or as a Business Analyst\n\nExperience with SQL, Power Bi, Tableau\n\nExperience in any ERP Software (Preferably Oracle & SAP).\n\nExcellent written, verbal and presentation skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nCertification in PGP/PGDM in Data Analytics/Business Analytics/Data Science and Engineering/AI/ML is an added advantage.\n\nKnowledge in Agile / Scrum, Critical Thinking Skills or Techniques.\n\nCertification in SAFe POPM, Human Centric Design preferred.\n\nHands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6 and Primavera Unifier\n\nExposure to Process Industry\n\nGood knowledge in Power Platforms, Azure DevOps.\n\nGood Knowledge in MS Office\n\nOur Culture & Commitment to You\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
