Working closely with global teams across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and regional organizations, you will play a key role in driving innovation, profitable growth, and long-term business success.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nDefine and execute a global product portfolio strategy aligned with business objectives, growth priorities, and market opportunities.\nDevelop and maintain short-, mid-, and long-term product roadmaps informed by customer insights, market trends, emerging technologies, and business performance.\nBuild and manage a complementary product portfolio that supports global and regional growth while minimizing internal overlap.\nLead product lifecycle management activities, including product introductions, enhancements, portfolio rationalization, and end-of-life planning.\nEvaluate buy, build, and partner opportunities through strategic, commercial, and financial analysis.\nMonitor portfolio performance, including orders, revenue, profitability, pricing, and product mix, and drive actions that improve business results.\nDevelop business cases and investment recommendations for new product development initiatives, including return on investment and financial impact analysis.\nOwn global pricing strategies and partner with regional teams to drive pricing execution, profitability, and value-based selling.\nLead product management activities within new product development programs, including business case development, requirements definition, and cross-functional alignment.\nPartner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure successful product launches and commercialization efforts.\nLead market intelligence initiatives, including competitive analysis, market segmentation, customer research, voice-of-customer programs, and win/loss evaluations.\nTranslate market trends, customer needs, and industry developments into actionable product strategies and portfolio investments.\nSupport global go-to-market strategies through product positioning, sales enablement, customer engagement, and marketing collaboration.\nDevelop, coach, and lead a geographically distributed team of product management professionals.\nEstablish product management best practices, governance processes, and portfolio review frameworks that promote continuous improvement and business excellence.\nWho You Are:\nYou anticipate future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies that create long-term value. You foster innovation by encouraging new ideas, challenging conventional thinking, and creating an environment where individuals and teams can grow, contribute, and achieve meaningful results.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nSignificant experience in product management, product marketing, business development, or a related commercial leadership role within an industrial business environment.\nExperience leading product management teams in a global or multi-regional setting.\nDemonstrated success managing complex product portfolios throughout the product lifecycle, including product launches, optimization, and retirement planning.\nExperience developing and executing product strategies that drive growth, profitability, and customer value.\nStrong financial acumen with experience developing business cases, evaluating investments, and supporting portfolio decision-making.\nExperience collaborating effectively with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams.\nStrong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.\nFluency in English, both written and verbal.\nLegal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided.\n\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nMBA or advanced degree in a related discipline.\nExperience with advanced joining technologies, ultrasonic welding, vibration welding, precision cleaning systems, plastics joining, automation technologies, or related industrial markets.\nExperience developing and executing global pricing and profitability strategies.\nKnowledge of product lifecycle management, stage-gate methodologies, and new product development processes.\nExperience conducting market analysis, competitive intelligence, and voice-of-customer research.\nProficiency with CRM, ERP, PLM, or related business systems.\nProficiency in an additional language such as German, Mandarin, or Spanish.\nExperience serving automotive, medical, electronics, consumer goods, or industrial manufacturing markets.\nOur Culture and Commitment To You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
