This position offers the opportunity to work with global stakeholders, influence product direction, and deliver solutions that create meaningful value for customers.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nPartner with Product Management and key stakeholders to understand product vision, customer needs, business objectives, and roadmap priorities, translating them into actionable direction for development teams.\n\nSupport Program Increment (PI) planning activities by refining features and user stories, identifying dependencies and risks, and contributing to meaningful business outcomes.\n\nManage and continuously refine the team backlog to balance customer value, business priorities, technical requirements, quality improvements, and team capacity.\n\nDevelop clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting requirements that enable effective and efficient software delivery.\n\nHelp teams understand the customer impact and business value behind planned functionality, enabling informed prioritization and decision-making.\n\nGather and incorporate customer and stakeholder feedback to enhance usability, reliability, and overall product experience.\n\nCollaborate across development, quality, architecture, operations, and security teams to coordinate work, address dependencies, and support successful delivery outcomes.\n\nReview completed work against defined acceptance criteria and intended business results, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to improve future planning.\n\nCommunicate effectively with global stakeholders, providing clarity on priorities, progress, risks, and key decisions.\n\nContribute to the ongoing improvement of Agile practices, team collaboration, and delivery effectiveness.\n\nWho You Are:\nYou understand internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs. You gain insight into customer needs\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\n\nMinimum of 4 years’ experience working in product ownership, product management, business analysis, software delivery, or a similar role supporting software development teams.\n\nExperience managing and refining product backlogs, creating user stories and acceptance criteria, and supporting iterative software development processes.\n\nWorking knowledge of Agile methodologies and SAFe practices, including backlog refinement, Program Increment planning, dependency management, and continuous improvement activities.\n\nAbility to translate customer and business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support successful product outcomes.\n\nStrong planning, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and decision-making skills.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.\n\nFlexibility to collaborate with global stakeholders across different time zones when required to support key planning and delivery activities.\n\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExperience serving as a Product Owner for SaaS, cloud-based, or enterprise software solutions.\n\nExperience working within a SAFe environment, including participation in Program Increment planning and execution.\n\nFamiliarity with Azure DevOps or similar product backlog and lifecycle management tools.\n\nKnowledge of industrial automation, SCADA, distributed control systems, IoT, IIoT, telemetry, or operational technology environments.\n\nExperience collaborating with globally distributed product and engineering teams.\n\nRelevant Agile or Product Ownership certifications, such as SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Certified Scrum Product Owner, or similar credentials.\n\nOur Culture and Commitment To You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
