This role requires an experienced, self-directed professional who can independently identify and resolve planning issues, anticipate material and capacity constraints, and coordinate cross-functional activities to maintain production flow and meet customer delivery commitments.\nThe successful candidate must be a self-starter capable of managing competing priorities, making sound decisions, and driving results with limited supervision or oversight.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nDevelop, maintain, and execute the Master Production Schedule to align customer demand, sales forecasts, inventory targets, and manufacturing capacity.\nAnalyze MRP messages, exception reports, demand changes, and supply constraints; determine and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule accuracy and stability.\nMaintain accurate ERP/MRP planning data, including production schedules, planned orders, lead times, lot sizes, safety stocks, and other planning parameters.\nMonitor material availability and production readiness, proactively address shortages, and coordinate with purchasing, production, inventory control, and customer service to resolve scheduling conflicts and support on-time delivery.\nTrack schedule attainment, customer service, on-time delivery, inventory levels, and schedule adherence; identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning accuracy, schedule stability, material availability, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency.\nIndependently prioritize daily responsibilities, manage competing demands, and follow assignments through completion with minimal direction.\nEscalate significant risks and issues to leadership with supporting analysis, recommended solutions, and potential impacts.\nMaintain accurate planning records, reports, and documentation to support operational reviews and decision-making.\nFollow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Stop work when unsafe conditions exist or continuing could create a safety risk.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nMinimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in production planning, master scheduling, MRP, or supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment; ora bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience\nDemonstrated expertise in Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and production planning within a manufacturing environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience analyzing large data sets and developing meaningful reports.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate complex planning issues clearly.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nAPICS/ASCM certification, such as CPIM or CSCP, is preferred.\nProven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and manage responsibilities with limited supervision.\nStrong understanding of production processes, manufacturing lead times, bills of material, routings, inventory control, supplier lead times, and capacity planning.\nAdvanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify trends, assess risks, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, respond effectively to changing conditions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrates a strong commitment to teamwork, workplace safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
