The role drives supplier performance and owns inventory optimization to support efficient factory operations and complete kit flow. Strong collaboration with engineering production Global Supply chain and quality teams ensures procurement meets technical and compliance standards.\nFor this role your responsibilities will be:\nLead mentor and develop the purchasing team fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.\nMonitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excesses that could disrupt production.\nEnsure all material management activities comply with industry standards and environmental regulations.\nImplement effective purchasing practices to consistently improve service levels.\nProvide the annual and monthly inventory plans for the Dubai plant\nDrive year-over-year improvement in Inventory Turnover (ITO) through targeted inventory optimization actions.\nTrack and improve monthly service level of suppliers and work with Global Supply Chain to improve and/or maintain target on time delivery\nEnsure on-time material shipments aligned with customer delivery requirements\nMaintain Days of Inventory on Hand (DOH) within optimal target ranges\nIdentify and realize cost containment and cost saving opportunities\nProvide support on Half yearly ABC classifications for the inventory\nEnsure monthly sales targets are met through effective materials\nPromote and ensure Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance and uphold 5S standards across all relevant departments.\nWho you are\nYou trust technology and innovation is key in pursuing with worlds most significant challenges.\nYou are continuously looking forward to developing and improving your professional skills.\nExcellent interpretation skills relating to engineering details & P&ID drawings.\nAbility to make technical decisions based on sound engineering facts & applicable codes\nFor this role you will need.\n3 years of proven experience in Engineer to Order manufacturing environment\nHave bachelors degree in engineering/supply chain or equivalent\nPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:\nAPICS CPIM Certified or In process / Level 5 CIPS Diploma\nExperience in metallurgy environment and / or valves Industry is a plus\nOur Culture & Commitment to You!\nAt Emerson we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued respected and empowered to grow.
