We are looking for a skilled and motivated Quality Calibration and Metrology Engineer who will be a key technical role responsible for the implementation and stabilization of all calibration processes.\nThe Quality Calibration and Metrology Engineer is responsible for Calibration Facility and process from a technical and process perspective; must maintain certification and accreditation to ensure the quality of temperature and pressure meter calibration, strict implementation of standards and Emerson procedures is required.\nThe Quality Calibration and Metrology Engineer is the Subject Matter Expert in calibration methodologies and flow meter performance, provides direction to the organization about efficiency of calibration processes and strategies, and provides flow and density calibration engineering expertise to develop, monitor, support, and continuously improve Calibration systems.\nIN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:\nLead all developments of the Calibration Facility to ensure all certifications are covered for product calibration.\nLead certification and accreditation processes for ISO17025, MID (Measurement Instrument Directive) \nManage Gold Meter test plan, including issuing corrective actions where needed and driving these to closure.\nLead and developing CMC (Calibration Measurement Capabilities) calculation tables, define uncertainty budget and communicate results to the stakeholders and accreditation bodies.\nDevelop, maintaining, and reporting quality related calibration metrics (Calibration Yield, Gold Meter Yield and Performance, ISO 17025, MID, etc.).\nDevelop Calibrator training and qualification programs.\nEnsure that calibration personnel are well trained for different calibrations, and are consistently using correct methods for daily calibration, with effective responding/troubleshooting system in case of non-conformances, providing them leadership on the technical aspects of calibration.\nLead efforts to resolve calibration-related quality issues.\nLead continuous improvement projects with respect to calibration by using statistical process control techniques.\nEnsure effective coordination with other worldwide locations regarding calibration processes.\nSupport with customer calibration witnesses and calibration or sensor performance related Support Requests (customer complaints).\nAssist Sales departments in determining customer calibration requirements.\nOwn and updating calibration manuals and procedures according to local and international standards.\nPerform root cause analysis as required.\nInitiate and/or leading project teams for continuous improvement projects and capital investments.\nLead Material Review Board (MRB) and define the final disposition of Calibration Non-Conforming Products.\nLead and coordinate the development, purchase, installation and commissioning processes for new and replacement calibration rigs in the Ede manufacturing facilities. \nWho You Are:\nYou consistently take initiative and actively pursue opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. You hold yourself and others accountable for commitments and adapt your approach when circumstances change, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic environments.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nEngineering Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (or recognized equivalent) is required;\nDemonstrable previous relevant work experience in engineering/quality in a production environment (approximately 3 years)\nKnowledge of machining, mechanical assembly, electronics assembly and testing.\nKnowledge of Flow Dynamics preferred.\nFamiliarity with CAD/CAM.\nKnowledge of Control programming and PLC.\nIn-depth knowledge of relevant standards (ISO17025, 10790, 9001, MID etc.)\nKnowledge of SPC (Statistical Process control) techniques and software (JMP, Minitab etc)\nKnowledge of Quality tools (Ishikawa, Design of Experiment - DOE etc.)\nFluent English language skills; verbal, reading and writing.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes in the area of responsibility.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems; Oracle experience is an advantage;\nGood communications skills.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
