You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and reporting quality performance and improvement opportunities to plant leadership.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nAnalyze quality trends and performance data to identify improvement opportunities that reduce Cost of Quality, improve yield, and enhance product reliability.\nLead or participate in corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing root cause analysis to address quality concerns and implement sustainable solutions.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to qualify and approve new processes, materials, tooling, and capital equipment while supporting risk reduction activities through quality planning.\nDevelop, coordinate, and maintain quality deliverables including PPAPs, PFMEAs, capability studies, statistical analysis, inspection plans, MSA documentation, quality records, and workmanship standards.\nSupport product and process development activities by participating in design reviews, DFMEAs, PFMEAs, and recommending improvements to product design, manufacturing methods, and process controls.\nCollaborate with suppliers to manage PPAP submissions, drive corrective actions for nonconforming materials, and ensure quality requirements are achieved.\nProvide training and guidance on quality tools and methodologies, support Material Review Board activities, coordinate inspections and testing as needed, and perform other responsibilities as assigned.\nWho You Are:\nYou build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. You consistently focus on achieving results, even in challenging circumstances, while balancing quality, risk, and business objectives.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.\nExperience as a Technician or Engineer in a manufacturing environment, including internship or co-op experience.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\n2 or more years of experience as a Technician or Engineer in a manufacturing environment.\nProficiency with technical quality tools and methodologies such as statistical analysis, FMEA, SPC, and related quality techniques.\nExperience using ERP and Quality Management System software, with JDE and EtQ preferred.\nASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification.\nSix Sigma or other Lean Manufacturing certification.\nISO 9000 experience.\nOur Culture and Commitment To You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
