The role will drive quality improvements, support root cause investigations, and help foster a proactive quality culture across the site.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nPerform and oversee welding, paint/coating, and product inspection and testing activities, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality procedures.\nDevelop, review, and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and coordinate customer, third-party, and regulatory witness inspections.\nSupport non-conformance management through investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.\nDrive quality improvements to reduce defects, scrap, rework, and customer complaints.\nSupport supplier quality activities, including inspections, audits, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.\nAssist with customer quality requirements, audits, documentation reviews, and quality reporting.\nAnalyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement.\nSupport calibration activities and ensure inspection equipment remains compliant and fit for purpose.\nCollaborate with production, engineering, and project teams to ensure quality requirements are met\nWho You Are\nYou are passionate about quality and delivering products right first time. You are proactive, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high standards while supporting a culture of quality and customer satisfaction.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nExperience in a Quality Engineer, Quality Inspector, or similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, standards, and customer requirements. \nExperience supporting product inspections, audits, and quality investigations. \nWorking knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent). \nExperience using quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, FMEA, and corrective action processes. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality reporting tools. \nAbility to inspect products and processes against recognised industry, customer, regulatory, and company standards.\nExperience developing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and supporting customer, third-party, and regulatory inspections.\nKnowledge of special processes such as welding, painting/coating, machining, assembly, pressure testing, or electrical testing.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExperience within an engineer-to-order (ETO) or manufacturing environment.\nExperience working with customer specifications and quality documentation packs.\nInternal Auditor qualification or willingness to work towards one (desirable).\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
