If you're someone who takes initiative to solve problems, focuses on details, and is dedicated to excellence, we want to hear from you!\nIn this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nPerform inspection and testing on receiving parts\nPerform in-process inspection audits in the manufacturing area\nGenerate nonconformance reports for parts that fail inspection\nWork with Assembly Operators and Manufacturing Engineers to affirm process controls\nPrepare, control, and maintain manufacturing and inspection documentation\nPrepare customer document packages\nSupport the investigation of claims and root cause analysis, including, execution of corrective actions\nAssist the Quality Manager in the training of other employees\nCalibrate production and inspection gauges and maintain calibration record\nPerform non-destructive testing on castings and welded fabrications\nMaintain a 5S work environment\nMay perform other duties as assigned\nWho You Are:\nYou show tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations; is exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. You Actively seeks input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions. You are able to adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse partners. You have an in-depth understanding of how businesses work and make money.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience\nThree to five years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment\nHands on experience with engineering drawings and specifications\nAbility to read and interpret diagrams and Bill of Materials (BOMs)\nFamiliarity with 5S methodology\nSolid understanding and use of calibrated measuring devices (Calipers, Micrometers and Durometers)\nWorking knowledge of the Quality Management System (QMS) per ISO 9001-2015\nPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:\nExcellent problem-solving skills and documentation/procedural skills.\nAbility to work in a team environment with fellow inspectors and other employees.\nAbility to use Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe\nPhysical Job Requirements\nStand up to eight hours per day\nAbility to work in a seated or standing position\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
