You will guide our Life Sciences industry customers through best practices, support software deployment, and, ultimately, help optimize their critical manufacturing operations. If this sounds like an interesting job for you, then join our team at Emerson!\nThis role can be located in: Durham, NC, Blue Bell, PA, Austin, TX, Houston, TX, St. Louis, MO, or Kansas City, KS.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nUse discrete event simulation to model complex manufacturing processes, including debottlenecking and capacity engineering.\nApply consultative skills in customer-facing meetings to understand processes and integrate diverse data sources into RTS software.\nDevelop algorithms for design of experiments, data visualization, optimization, and efficiency improvements.\nImplement and support RTS software, collaborating with clients to incorporate upgrades and enhancements.\nPartner with Technology teams on product testing and feature development.\nDeliver projects within budget and timelines while ensuring customer satisfaction.\nWho You Are:\nYou analyze diverse sources of information to accurately define problems before moving to solutions. You make sound decisions even when faced with uncertainty and incomplete data. You build strong relationships and align the interests of multiple stakeholders to achieve shared goals. You adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain focus on delivering results that create value for customers and the organization.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor’s degree, with 2+ years of relevant experience.\nProficiency with discrete event simulation tools (e.g., FlexSim, Simio, Technomatix, Plant Simulation).\nStrong understanding of probability and statistics.\nAbility to independently develop programmatic software solutions for novel problems (e.g., C#, C++).\nExperience with mathematical modeling and scripting languages (e.g., VBA, Python, Matlab).\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer interactions.\nAbility to travel up to 15%.\nLegal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExperience in the Life Sciences manufacturing industry.\nAbility to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.\nDemonstrated success working collaboratively in both leadership and individual contributor roles.\nOur Culture and Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
