This role partners closely with leaders and employees across the facility to strengthen a culture of safety, continuous learning, operational excellence, and accountability. The Safety & Training Coordinator oversees safety initiatives, regulatory compliance activities, employee training systems, workforce development programs, and training records to ensure employees have the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to perform their work safely and effectively.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nDevelop, implement, and maintain safety, health, and training programs, policies, and procedures that support compliance, employee development, and operational excellence.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA requirements and applicable federal, state, and local regulations through audits, inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments, and corrective action management.\nLead incident, injury, and near-miss investigations, emergency preparedness activities, safety awareness programs, industrial hygiene initiatives, and workers’ compensation support efforts.\nDesign, coordinate, and continuously improve onboarding, new hire, qualification, compliance, technical, and recurring training programs across manufacturing and support functions.\nMaintain training records, competency assessments, training matrices, learning systems, and documentation to support workforce capability and regulatory requirements.\nPartner with leaders, trainers, and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps, develop training materials, enhance employee development opportunities, and support succession planning efforts.\nMonitor safety and training performance metrics, conduct audits, generate reports, present findings to leadership, and drive continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen, 6S, and process improvement projects.\nWho You Are:\nYou build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
