We are looking for a Application Engineer to work with our North American Team. This role is responsible to provide independent engineering support for Control valve and Regulators to both the dedicated and non-dedicated impact partner assigned accounts for any project related enquiries. Perform Sizing and selection of control valves using proprietary FisherFirst2 software. Prepare Technical and Commercial Quote, technical deviations list, generate reports, drawings. Contact GIS teams for any technical/special price requirements. This role will work independently to support the inside sales network in North America region. You will be responsible for working with Industry sales team and Product engineers on finalizing solutions for severe service applications in process industry.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nReview project specifications and prepare deviations list\nClarify doubts on technical specifications through conference calls with Sales office/LBP\nSizing and selection of control valves using proprietary FisherFirst software\nContact GIS/SPG teams as and when required for critical application solutions/special prices\nPrepare Technical and Commercial Quote, technical deviations list and generate reports and drawings\nProvide support on project revisions from Customer\nSupport Sales office after the issue of PO and prepare transaction for order entry\nProvide technical support for OE /factory clarifications and assist with change orders\nMaintain records of all work done.\nKey contact for all technical issues related to the LBP supported\nCheck quotations based on MIB strategy made by less experienced engineers and document errors and act as a\nmentor in the team\nMonitor RDSL, PDSL & RFT performance for the LBP supported\nAnalyse RFQ scope & resource availability and commit to a deadline\nHandle internal training programs\nReadiness for Inhouse engineer support\nAble to handle all severe service applications\nIndependently handle quote to commit process\nExperienced to handle TBE meetings with customers independently.\nTroubleshoot site issues\nWho You Are:\nYou quickly and significantly take action in constantly evolving, unexpected situations. You actively seek input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions. You handle the risk that comes with moving forward when the outcome is not certain.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nMinimum 3-year experience of any Engineering background.\n\nKnowledge of all Fisher products and accessories.\n\nUnderstanding of product specifications and Incoterms.\n\nAdequate knowledge of sizing control valves for industry specific applications\n\nKnowledge of MIB strategy & implementation skilled in using the FF2 tool\n\nBasic knowledge of Inactive/obsolete/Competitor products.\n\nDegree in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering.\n\nBasic understanding of MS word, excel and power point.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
