You will be based out of Austin, TX, and will work alongside a collaborative global team to design, build, and optimize infrastructure that enables Emerson’s digital transformation.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nBuild, optimize, and manage cloud-native systems such as Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources\nSupport secure edge-to-cloud solutions for industrial devices, gateways, analytics services, and cloud applications.\n\nDocument, maintain, improve, and validate engineering artifacts and operational procedures.\n\nBuild and improve CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows to support secure, reliable, and repeatable software delivery.\nParticipate in agile development activities including planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement \nPartner with cybersecurity, architecture, product, and software development teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.\nDocument, maintain, improve, and validate engineering artifacts and operational procedures.\nCollaborate with global engineering teams to execute strategic platform initiatives. \nWho You Are:\nYou consistently build and deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations. You foster collaboration to achieve common goals while relating comfortably across various levels, functions, cultures, and geography.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field\nA minimum of five (5) years of experience with large-scale infrastructure systems in a production environment\nProficiency in modern programming and scripting languages such as Go, Python, Bash, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or others.\nProficiency with Kubernetes (cluster lifecycle, networking, upgrades) and containerization technologies like Docker.\nProficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, including reusable modules, code review, environment promotion, and automated provisioning.\nExperience working with global teams within an Agile development framework.\nProficiency developing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or similar tools.\n\nLegal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role\nAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
