We are looking for a Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager to work for our India Pressure Management Business unit, Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu location. You will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, on time, and within budget. This gives you a very important role in delivering the project's objectives while meeting stakeholders’ expectations and maintaining quality standards.\nIn this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nDevelop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources and budget requirement.\nCoordinating internal team members, external third parties/vendors and other stakeholders to ensure resources are allocated effectively for the flawless execution of projects.\nEnsure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget by monitoring progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing solutions to keep project on track.\nTracking projects expenses and managing budget to ensure project is within financial constraints.\nReport and escalate to management as needed.\nAccountable for implementing project contract terms and conditions for the project.\n\nSupports and presents status review meetings weekly with management.\n\nIdentifying, assessing and Perform risk management to minimize project risks.\nFacilitating clear and open communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.\nOverseeing quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet project requirements and industry standards.\nManaging changes to project scope, schedule, and objectives while minimizing disruption and maintaining project alignment.\nCreating and maintaining project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and issue logs.\nEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation.\nFollow up with Customer for payment milestones achieved and follow-up through accounts receipt and closure.\nEnsures involvement of site team / local business partners at the appropriate project phase\n\nResponsible for the smooth handover of the project to the LCS Team.\n\nReports to Head PMO.\nUnderstanding of project management principles, methodologies and best practices.\nAbility to lead and motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and provide direction and guidance to achieve project goals.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information, negotiate contracts, and manage stakeholder expectations.\nExcellent organizational abilities to plan and prioritize tasks, manage resources, and coordinate schedules to meet project deadlines.\nCapacity to identify issues, analyze problems, and develop creative solutions to overcome challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.\nUnderstanding of budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management to ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.\nProficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to minimize potential disruptions to project progress.\nFamiliarity with project management tools and software, as well as relevant industry-specific knowledge to effectively manage projects in various domains.\nAbility to negotiate contracts, resolve conflicts, and manage stakeholder expectations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.\nFlexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and environments while maintaining focus on project objectives.\nCapability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, understand their needs, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.\nEffective time management skills to prioritize tasks, allocate resources efficiently, and meet project deadlines.\nWho You Are:\nYou quickly and decisively act in constantly evolving, unexpected situations.
