Based in Shakopee, MN, this role drives ownership of the new product development process within Emerson’s measurement, flow, and analytical instrumentation portfolio as part of the Cross Portfolio Technology and Innovation team. You will collaborate across functional teams and product companies to integrate digital connectivity technologies - including Ethernet, cellular, LoRaWAN, and Bluetooth® connectivity - into Emerson’s instrument portfolio. This position requires a hands-on leader with a technical background and proven project management skills, such as delivering new products and cross-business collaboration, to deliver portfolio-wide impact.\nOur customers span across many industries, including chemical, oil & gas, municipality, and pharmaceutical companies. Specifically, our products transmit pressure, temperature, flow, level, and other critical measurements back to a control system. This role is based on-site four days a week.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nDevelop and implement plans for new product development projects\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, requirements, and deliverables\nMonitor project progress, manage risk, and implement mitigating actions as needed\nCoordinate internal resources and potentially third-party/vendor partnerships \nManage project budgets, schedules, and scope\nCultivate collaboration, learning, and innovation, serving as a mentor and coach to team members\nEstablish and maintain relationships and trust with key collaborators and stakeholders\nProvide timely communication to collaborators and executives that include project updates\nWho You Are:\nYou effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.
