The Financial Analyst will support the European Management team in achieving the objectives of the Measurement Solutions Europe Business Unit.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nSupports the preparation of detailed financial analyses and reports to facilitate the development and execution of plans and strategies for the MSOL Headquarters entities, including annual budgets, cost reviews, and monthly POR (Plan Operating Review) activities\nParticipates in the monthly financial close process (including Financial and POR reporting), ensuring that significant variances are understood, reviewed, investigated, and explained to management, and that month-end financial results are delivered accurately and on time.\nReviews and validates cost center data and verifies and reconciles local and international supplier invoices.\nPrepares, reviews, and ensures the accurate reporting of monthly accruals for the Europe BU Headquarters.\nSupports the preparation of financial presentations for the Vice President of Finance and other members of the European management team regarding headcount across MSOL Europe.\nManages headcount reporting and is responsible for the accuracy of reporting permanent and temporary employees.\nManages reporting to corporate headquarters and is responsible for optimizing expense and service analyses provided to stakeholders.\nPrepares routine analyses, ad hoc reports, and projects as requested by the Finance Manager, Vice President, or European and global management teams.\nCommunicates effectively with direct management, regional HQ finance personnel, and global MSOL finance teams.\nPerforms ad hoc analyses whenever required.\nDevelops procedures related to the reports and processes within the scope of responsibility.\nEscalates technical and non-technical issues by involving the appropriate departments and management levels to ensure prompt resolution.\nProvides temporary support and backup coverage in various situations as requested by the team leader or group manager.\nWho You Are:\nYou use financial analysis to generate, evaluate, and act on strategic options and opportunities, you readily action new challenges, without unnecessary planning and you build teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance.\nAdvanced written and spoken English skills.\nExcellent Microsoft Office skills.\nExperience with Oracle, HFM, and Hyperion systems is considered an advantage.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExcellent communication skills.\nResults-oriented mindset.\nProactive attitude.\nStrong teamwork, organizational, and deadline management skills.\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions.\nAvailability to work flexible hours based on business requirements.\nProfessional, courteous, and persistent approach.\nWell-organized and disciplined.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
