The Platform Owner partners with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Data, Business Group leaders, implementation partners, and the Salesforce Center of Excellence to balance standardization, scalability, risk management, and business agility.\nIn this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nPlatform Ownership, Roadmap & Governance\nOwn the long-term health, strategic direction, and enterprise roadmap for Emerson's Salesforce platform across implementation, stabilization, and continuous improvement phases\nTranslate Business Group capability needs into a prioritized Salesforce platform roadmap that balances global standardization with justified local flexibility\nPartner with the Architecture Review Board, Salesforce Center of Excellence, and workstream teams to enforce platform governance, design standards, release discipline, and decision rights\nMonitor platform limits, org health, release impacts, adoption risks, technical debt, and configuration complexity, escalating issues before they become delivery or operational blockers\nMaintain a clear intake, prioritization, and release governance process for enhancements, new Salesforce products, and enterprise-level platform changes\nCommercial, Vendor & License Stewardship\nManage Salesforce licenses, entitlements, usage, renewals, and vendor commercial relationships to ensure Emerson receives value from its Salesforce investments \nRepresent Emerson in Salesforce customer councils, strategic account discussions, product roadmap conversations, and partner governance forums\nEvaluate new Salesforce capabilities and ecosystem tools against business value, platform fit, cost, risk, and enterprise readiness criteria\nCoordinate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Security, and IT leadership on commercial agreements, compliance obligations, and vendor performance expectations\nCompliance, Security & Enterprise Alignment\nEnsure Salesforce platform operations align with Emerson security policies, data governance frameworks, audit requirements, regulatory obligations, and enterprise architecture standards\nPartner with Security, Data, and Architecture leaders on access models, data protection, sandbox strategy, release controls, and operational risk management\nDefine platform-level operating metrics and executive reporting for platform health, adoption, compliance, cost, releases, support performance, and backlog transparency\nBuild durable platform operating practices that reduce customization sprawl, protect the global template, and support a sustainable internal ownership model\nWho You Are:\nYou combine strategic platform ownership with hands-on operational discipline (Strategic Mindset; Drives Results).
