In this role, you lead new production introductions, resolve manufacturing issues, identifies opportunities for yield & process improvements, drive cost reduction and productivity enhancement projects ensure compliance with safety & quality standards while contributing to a collaborative and innovative manufacturing environment.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nLeads and/or participate in process development, optimization, training, qualification, and validation activities for New Product or technology transfers.\nLeads in yield improvement, root cause analysis to resolve product manufacturing failures & determine root cause, reduce scrap and improve quality\nImproves manufacturing efficiency through workflow, space, equipment layout optimization, cost reduction, process automation and digital transformation\nManages new equipment set-up and equipment improvements\nGenerate process equipment specifications and ensures all equipment are robustly designed for mass production particularly on safety\nDevelop, maintain, and update manufacturing procedures and related documentation including Risk Assessments (RA), Lockout/Tagout procedures (LOTO), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Equipment Safety Requirements (ESR) for assembly & equipment processes.\nCreates and maintains Bill of Material (BOM) structure, product attributes, categories configuration, routing and any engineering related support.\nWho You Are:\nYou build partnerships and collaborative work to meet the target objectives set by the team. You take action quickly and critically in fast paced and unexpected situations. You consistently achieve results and completes responsibilities even under tough circumstances.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies\nExperience with process optimization, root cause analysis and problem-solving tools (Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, etc)\nTrained in Lean techniques, SPC, Six Sigma and Process Improvement tools\nExperience with automation, robotics, PLCs, welding or Industry 4.0 technologies is an advantage\nStrong understanding of quality management systems and standards\nProficiency in computer skills - Oracle business system and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint) skills preferred\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nBachelor's degree in engineering with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or production environments\nExcellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nSix Sigma Green Belt or other relevant certifications preferred\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
