This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and project management expertise to coordinate work across engineering, operations, compliance, and business functions within a dynamic product development environment.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nProject Leadership & Execution\nLead the development and maintenance of integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and risk-management activities.\nCoordinate cross-functional execution across software engineering, hardware engineering, operations, compliance, quality, and business teams.\nFacilitate project meetings, establish clear agendas, drive decisions, and ensure completion of action items.\nLead milestone readiness reviews and align stakeholders on requirements, deliverables, and project objectives.\nMonitor project scope, schedule, costs, and resources, identifying variances and driving corrective actions when necessary.\nRisk Management & Issue Anticipation\nProactively identify risks, dependencies, constraints, and potential delivery challenges.\nPartner with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and escalation plans.\nAnalyze project workstreams to uncover bottlenecks and coordinate resolution activities.\nLead recovery planning for unexpected events while maintaining focus on customer and business priorities.\nConduct root-cause analyses and ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.\nCommunication & Collaboration\nDeliver clear, concise project communications, status updates, and executive reports.\nBuild alignment across functions, organizational levels, and global teams.\nFoster an inclusive, collaborative environment that promotes transparency, accountability, and constructive problem-solving.\nSupport effective decision-making by ensuring stakeholders have timely and relevant project information.\nProcess & Continuous Improvement\nFacilitate project retrospectives and apply lessons learned to future initiatives.\nChampion New Product Development (NPD) processes, tools, templates, and best practices.\nIdentify opportunities to improve project execution, organizational effectiveness, and product-development outcomes.\nPromote consistency and continuous improvement across project management practices.\nWho You Are:\nYou communicate effectively in both individual and group settings, adapting your approach to different audiences and organizational levels. You establish clear expectations, promote accountability, and consistently follow through on commitments to deliver results that align with customer requirements and business objectives.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.\nMinimum 5 years of Experience leading technical projects within the test and measurement industry, electronics industry, or a related technology environment.\nDemonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through structured project execution.\nProficiency with project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent platforms.\nStrong communication, planning, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.\nExperience working within matrixed organizations and collaborating across global teams.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on quality, schedule, and customer needs.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nPMP certification or an equivalent project management credential.\nExperience leading integrated hardware, software, and firmware product-development programs.\nKnowledge of Agile, Hybrid Agile, Lean Product Development, or related methodologies.\nExperience driving process improvements within new product development environments.\nFamiliarity with procurement and project-funding processes, including purchase orders (POs) and appropriation/acquisition requests (ARs).\nExperience supporting technical product development from concept through commercialization.\nExperience with NI products and Semiconductor software domain.\nOur Culture and Commitment To You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
