You create new and better ways for the organization to be successful.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nDemonstrated experience in mechanical engineering, product engineering, sustaining engineering, or a related technical field.\nPractical ability to create and review mechanical designs, engineering drawings, bills of materials, calculations, and technical documentation.\nWorking knowledge of design-verification methods, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.\nProficiency with one or more computer-aided design applications, such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or comparable software.\nFamiliarity with enterprise resource planning systems and engineering document-control or change-management processes.\nKnowledge of relevant international valve or pressure-equipment standards, which may include ASME, API, EN, ISO, PED, or BS requirements.\nAbility to assess and resolve technical issues in manufacturing, shop-floor, or field environments.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\nClear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with colleagues across functions, cultures, and locations.\nProfessional working proficiency in English.\nWillingness to collaborate across global time zones when necessary and travel based on business requirements.\nA degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, technical training, and practical experience. \nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExperience with industrial valves, actuators, valve automation, configured products, or comparable mechanical equipment.\nApplied knowledge of valve design and certification standards, such as EN 12516, ASME B16.34, API 609, ISO 15848, or API 607.\nExperience supporting manufacturing validation, product localization, design certification, or shop-floor problem-solving.\nExperience creating or reviewing complete mechanical product design packages.\nExperience working with remote teams in a global or matrixed organization.\nFamiliarity with automation and data-visualization tools, such as VBA, Power BI, artificial intelligence assistants, or comparable technologies.\nAbility to identify improvement opportunities and translate ideas into practical engineering solutions.\nAdditional language capabilities that support collaboration with global colleagues, suppliers, and customers. \nOur Culture and Commitment To You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
