You handle the risk that comes with moving forward when the outcome is not certain.\n\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nCommercial experience with core Java 5+\n\nSolid understanding of object-oriented programming\n\nGood knowledge of Java ecosystem: containers, class loaders, data structures, streams\n\nGood knowledge of SQL\n\nKnowledge of concurrency in Java\n\nBasic understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds\n\nUnderstanding of client-side and server-side architectures\n\nFamiliarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven\n\nExperience with Microsoft development tools.\nPractical experience in software design principles and best practices.\n\nProficient in troubleshooting and debugging software.\n\nDevelop and execute manual unit test as well as perform unit and integration testing.\n\nExperience with full-lifecycle projects, formal software development methodologies.\n\nAbility to work and function within a diverse environment with remote teams.\n\nDesign and Implementation of RESTful APIs integration\n\nWorking Knowledge on Communication Protocol development like OPC UA, Modbus, TCP/IP, DNP3\n\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nBachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science, related engineering discipline or Equivalent\n\n3- 4 years’ experience with at least 2 years in Software development\n\nExperience with Web sockets\n\nTomcat servlet engine\n\nSQL Server, Apache Cassandra, PostgreSQL database\n\nExperience with Junit tests\n\nNetworking knowledge\n\nKnowledge of SCADA systems\n\nBasic knowledge of renewable assets (wind turbines, solar plants, BESS)\n\nExperience with the Agile methodologies\n\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
