automation.\nEnsure system observability using advanced logging, monitoring, alerting, and error-tracking tools such as Prometheus, Grafana.\nOptimize code performance, debug complex system issues, and enhance overall application reliability and security.\nApply microservices and API gateway best practices to build resilient, fault-tolerant architectures.\nImplement secure coding practices and adhere to compliance standards.\nWork closely with data scientists and ML engineers to integrate machine learning models into enterprise applications.\nUtilize ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost for model development and experimentation.\nContribute to LLM integration, prompt engineering, model orchestration patterns, and high-performance inference pipelines.\nProcess and engineer data using Pandas, NumPy, Polars, supporting ML workflows and feature engineering.\nWork with model interpretability tools (SHAP, LIME) and A/B testing frameworks to evaluate model performance.\nHands-on experience on agentic AI using frameworks like AutoGen, CrewAI\nHands-on experience of development and deployment of MCP servers\nPartner with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.\nParticipate actively in architectural discussions, contribute to long-term technical roadmaps, and influence engineering best practices.\nConduct code reviews, ensure high coding standards, and promote best-practice development patterns.\nMentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical You are inter-personal savvy and have excellent verbal and written Communications Skills. \nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent (MSc/MCA preferred).\n\n8+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial production Python development. Avoid requiring eight years of AI/LLM experience, since the field is newer.\n\nStrong Python fundamentals: typing, async/concurrency, API design, error handling, testing, profiling, and maintainable package/service architecture.\n\nProduction experience with FastAPI or a comparable Python API framework, relational databases, and automated testing/CI.\n\nApplied experience building or operating LLM-backed applications, preferably RAG systems using embeddings, vector or hybrid retrieval, and reranking.\n\nUnderstanding of how to evaluate LLM features with representative datasets, measurable acceptance criteria, and regression tests rather than relying on prompt review alone.\n\nExperience securing APIs and distributed services, including authentication, authorization, secrets, and safe handling of sensitive data.\n\nExperience operating containerized services in Kubernetes or a comparable production platform.\n\nStrong communication and technical leadership: can explain tradeoffs, review designs, mentor engineers, and own work through production support.\n\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExperience working in Agile development methodology.\n\nExperience with industrial automation, process control, engineering documentation, or other safety- or reliability-sensitive domains.\n\nExperience with on-premises or air-gapped deployments, private registries, customer-managed certificates, and local inference.\n\nFamiliarity with inference serving and optimization such as batching, concurrency limits, quantization, GPU memory management, or model capacity planning.\n\nExperience with tools such as PostgreSQL/pgvector, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.\n\nExperience with agents or MCP servers, especially permissioned tools, auditability, and robust failure behavior.\n\nReact/TypeScript experience if this role is expected to contribute substantially to the UI.\n\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
