This role ensures manufacturing capacity aligns with forecasted demand and business requirements while driving continuous improvement in capacity analysis, modeling accuracy, and factory utilization.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nFactory Capacity Planning\nOwn short-term and long-term capacity planning for the factory.\nEnsure capacity aligns with forecasted demand and business requirements.\nS&OP capacity analysis: Perform monthly capacity analysis. Present findings, risks, and recommendations to management to support decision-making.\nCapacity Model Development\nCreate, maintain, and improve capacity models.\nUpdate models to reflect NPI introductions, process changes, cycle time improvements, and equipment additions.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with the Test Engineering Team.\nEnsure capacity analysis uses the latest test times, yield data, and process information.\nLayout Planning\nProvide support for factory layout planning when required.\nOptimize equipment placement, space utilization, and manufacturing flow.\nWho You Are:\nYou anticipate future trends and implications accurately, applying a broad perspective to identify opportunities and challenges that support long-term business success. You communicate clearly and effectively through a variety of channels, ensuring that messages are understood by different audiences. You consistently achieve results, even under challenging circumstances, and maintain a strong focus on delivering commitments and business objectives.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nDegree in an Engineering discipline from a recognized university.\n2 to 5 years of related experience in capacity and layout.\nExcellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nFamiliarity with capacity analysis (short-term and long-term, including capital expenditure planning) and the ability to enhance existing capacity models for faster and more accurate analysis.\nGood leadership and strong communication skills to drive capacity improvements.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExperience supporting manufacturing operations in a high-volume production environment.\nKnowledge of factory capacity planning methodologies and manufacturing flow optimization.\nExperience developing and improving capacity models to support strategic business decisions.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across multiple functions to achieve operational objectives.\nOur Culture and Commitment To You:\nAt Emerson, we foster a culture where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their best.
