This role leads day-to-day shop floor activities, supports workforce development, and drives operational excellence across assembly, machining, welding, and related manufacturing processes. Based in the UAE, the position may require up to 25% travel to support business needs.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nLead and coordinate Quick Ship manufacturing operations under the guidance of the Quick Ship Operations Manager.\nAct as the safety focal point for Quick Ship Operations and promote a strong safety culture across the team.\nConduct safety toolbox talks and drive employee safety awareness initiatives.\nPlan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing activities including Assembly, Machining, Welding, and Heat Treatment operations.\nSupport item activation activities for in-house manufacturing requirements.\nProvide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to the operations team.\nEnsure availability of tooling, materials, equipment, and resources required to meet production commitments.\nCollaborate with Planning and Stores teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely order execution.\nCoordinate with Quality teams for internal quality programs, customer inspections, surveillance visits, and regulatory audits.\nDrive workforce development through coaching, engagement, training, and talent development initiatives.\nSupport factory automation and intelligent manufacturing initiatives to improve operational efficiency.\nPrepare and present operational performance reports and conduct regular review meetings.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance.\nWho You Are\nYou lead by example and promote a strong culture of safety and accountability.\nYou effectively develop and engage team members to achieve operational excellence.\nYou are action-oriented and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nYou collaborate effectively across multiple functions to achieve business objectives.\nYou focus on customer satisfaction while balancing quality, delivery, and efficiency goals.\nYou demonstrate resilience, resourcefulness, and a commitment to continuous improvement.\nFor This Role, You Will Need\nTechnical Diploma, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.\n8-10 years of manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in a Supervisor or Team Leader role.\nExperience in manufacturing operations within a valve, mechanical, or process industry environment.\nStrong leadership, planning, coordination, and people management skills.\nKnowledge of manufacturing safety, quality systems, and operational best practices.\nAbility to effectively manage shop floor priorities and operational challenges.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart\nStrong knowledge of Assembly, Machining, and Welding processes.\nProduct knowledge and experience withFisher Control Valve products.\nExperience driving manufacturing automation and operational improvement initiatives.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You!\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
