Able to identify the risk and opportunities.\nShould have adequate experience in Hardware Engineering and Panel design.\nUnderstanding the Network Architecture, Exposure to Buyouts, Preparation of Purchase request.\nUnderstanding of buyouts such as (HMI, Servers, Cables, Control desk/furniture, Field Instruments, Relays, Barriers, HMI, UPS, Chargers, LVS etc.).\nSite walk-downs for data collection, IO list preparation.\nExperience in preparation of cable schedules, engineering documentation, TQs and business/customer correspondence.\nExperience in building a Bill of Material with support of manufacturing teams for achieving the desired result.\nUnderstanding of the project cycle, time management and production phases. \nAwareness of technical risk during project execution and site activities.\nExperience in Pre-FAT, Panel integration and Conducting customer FAT (HW) and SAT.\nClose collaboration and communication with team members located at different geographical locations, including vendors & sub-contractors.\nVerification and functional testing of I/O interfaces to field devices and Supervision of control system installation, commissioning and start-up.\nWho You Are:\nYou display a can-do attitude in good and bad times. You convert ideas into actions and produce results with new initiatives.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nDegree in Engineering or Equivalent (Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation & Control, or equivalent field)\n8-12 years' project engineering experience in field of DCS and some exposure to commissioning is desirable.\nDCS Hardware design exposure, Procurement exposure.\nExposure to Project documentation and project cycles.\nIn this role, you will work independently and/or as part of a team to design, implement and should have adequate experience in Hardware Engineering, Panel design and Understanding of the Network Architecture. \nYou should be able to conduct project Design Review Meetings, Customer Workshops and Factory/Site Acceptance Tests with customers to demonstrate System functionality independently. \nYou may need to travel about 40% of the time depending on project requirements.\nAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.\nProficiency with ISA and SAMA logic symbols, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics\nPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nProblem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills\nAbility to write reports, business correspondence and commissioning documents\nAbility to optimally present information and respond to queries from management, clients, and customers.\nProficiency with one or more DCS/PLC platforms (e.g., ABB Pro Control / Bailey INFI 90 / Symphony Harmony, Yokogawa Centum VP / CS3000, Siemens T3000 / TXP, GE Mark V / VI, Mitsubishi DIASYS Netmation, Invensys, Honeywell TDC3000, MaxDNA, MetsoDNA, Alstom Alspa320, Allen Bradley / GE-Fanuc / Schneider / Siemens PLCs & SCADA etc.)\nKnowledge of datalinks (Modbus RTU / TCP-IP, ELC, Profibus, OPC, FF).\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
